   From time to time, there may be information on our website that contains typographical errors, inaccuracies, or omissions that may relate to products descriptions, pricing, and availability.  Betsy's Health Foods, Inc. reserves the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions and to change or update information at any time without prior notice (including after you have submitted your order).

Mail Orders


   All orders typically take 1-2 business days to process.  

 

Sales tax

   Customers with orders shipping to Texas will be charged applicable sales tax for beauty and personal care items, books, and aromatherapy and pet products.

   Besty's Health Foods, Inc. does not have online inventory at this time.  We ship orders Monday through Friday, excluding US Government holidays.  We mail United States Postal Service.  You will receive a copy of your order with your product.

   If your address cannot be verified by our address verification system, your order may be delayed while we contact you to confirm the address.  

   After receiving a shipment, please check all contents against the packing slip before discarding the box and packing material.  The customer is responsible for tracking shipments.  In the event a shipment does not arrive, we need to be notified no later than 2 weeks from the recorded delivery date.  In some instances, the customer may be required to sign for a package.  This is solely at the discretion of the shipping company.

   Customers are only charged one shipping charge and will not be charged additional shipping to send out backordered items.  If a package is returned after 2 delivery attempts, returned due to an incorrect/incomplete address, or refused at delivery, you will be refunded for the total amout of the order less shipping and less a re-stocking fee of 15% of the total order amount.

 

Backorders

   Sometimes, our manufacturers are out of stock on an item.  In this case, we will do our best to notify you of the expected delay.  If an item is not out of stock, we are most often able to get your product within 3 to 4 business days when we do not already have the product in inventory.  If the item will take longer than that to come in, we will notify you.

   Refrigerated items are kept in the refrigerator until they are ready to be shipped.  After the items are in transit, they are susceptible to shipping temperatures.  We only ship liquids and certain protein powders at our own discretion.

Returns for Mail Orders

   At Betsy's, we back our product.  You may return any unopened product within 30 days of purchase with the original receipt, and you will receive a full refund of like purchase tender (minus shipping and handling).  [Customer is responsible for return postage.]

If you live in the Houston area, you may also return your product to our brick and mortar location (same address as above) in person.  Just bring us your product and receipt, and our friendly sales staff will be pleased to help you.

   Once your return has been received, a credit or refund will be issued within 30 days and an email confirmation can be sent if you provide us with an email address.  Otherwise, we will call you to notify you of the refund.  Betsy's Health Foods, Inc. reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to reject any return that does not comply with these requirements.  A 15% re-stocking fee will be applied on all returns over $200.


 Shipping

   We charge a standard rate of $4.99 for shipping and handling via parcel post.  Expect a schedule of 4 to 9 business days.

   We do not ship liquids or powdered products.  We only ship to the continental U.S. with the exception of California. 

   We reserve the right to refuse an order.  We also reserve the right to charge additional fees for oversized or overweight packages.

   In the case that an extra charge will occur, one of our customer service representatives will contact you before proceeding with your order.

Privacy


We use the personal information you provide to fulfill your order. We do not sell your name, email address or physical address. We send out occasional emails to let you know about changes to our site and product specials we believe will be of interest to you, or to invite your feedback through a survey. If you do not want to receive email or other mail from us, please let us know by emailing us at betsyhealth@betsyhealth.com

Our Return Policy

   Satisfaction guaranteed or your money cheerfully refunded.  Within 30 days with original cash register receipt only.  All purchases paid by check have a 10 day waiting period.  Please keep your receipt!!

FDA regulations

   When you contact us by phone or email concerning specific health questions, we are limited in the amount and type of information we can legally supply. We may explain the structure/function claims approved by the FDA, but any advice outside those parameters would be considered prescribing by the FDA and so is not allowed.

   We will do our best to supply you with resources concerning current research in the health foods industry, like the information contained in the articles section of our website. Thanks in advance for your patience in this matter.
